David Ross, CEO of Ross Video, addresses in this video interview at NAB 2024 the 50 years of history of the company as well as the main pillars on which Ross has supported its presence at the fair with hyperconverged solutions, new proposals for studio robotization and virtual production or production in the cloud.

It was fifty years ago when John Ross, father of the current CEO David Ross, founded Ross Video launching a small video switcher. Half a century later, the company has come to NAB 2024 stronger than ever, showcasing its latest innovations in hyperconverged infrastructure, cloud technologies, extended reality (XR) solutions, graphics, production mixers and newsroom production workflows.

What, without a doubt, caught the most attention at the Ross Video booth in Las Vegas was the new system Close. This robotic studio camera solution offers flexibility, creativity and practicality by combining innovative robotics with the elegance of free movement. Gliding effortlessly across virtually any studio floor, Artimo offers the freedom of a free-motion pedestal with the fluid, dynamic motion characteristics of a dolly or jib.

In the range of mixers, the new one stood out Carbonite Code, a software-based approach with NDI I/O. Designed to meet the demands of a growing community of live production professionals, Carbonite Code combines the reliability of Ross Video's Carbonite range with the efficiency and low latency of NDI video transport technology.

Ross Video has also announced the release of Raiden, a new weather graphics solution that allows newsrooms to elevate their storytelling with more engaging weather and climate content. Powered by XPression, Raiden combines data collection, processing and visualization tools to create amazing content.

New TDx4 and TDx3 panels

Following the success of last year's TD3 and TD4 panels, the TouchDrive control panel range is now expanded with the introduction of the TDx panels. Designed to deliver maximum efficiency in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, panels TDx4 y TDx3 TouchDrive controllers offer even more control options with an additional row of buttons for Key/Aux bus source assignment or memory recall and custom control operations.
