The producer and CEO of El Sueño Eterno Pictures, Patricia Gonzalez, explains what this new project means: “When the script for The wedding, I was surprised by what human beings are capable of doing to pretend to be what they are not. How we live pending to be liked, liked, or do the politically correct thing, even if we pay a toll as high as never being happy. We have normalized speaking badly about someone, inventing situations without looking at the consequences that this can entail. I think that the evolution of these two characters (one pushed to his limits by his chaotic life, and the other by the control they have over theirs), is a lesson in how you can move forward if you find in your life the person who is capable of giving you everything, even if you are not able to pay the same. The importance of healing past wounds, breaking insurmountable barriers and loving oneself.”
