'El Llanto', Pedro Martín-Calero's debut film, is filmed

The Crying It is the first feature film Pedro Martín-Calero, internationally recognized director for his works, music videos and short films, which have earned him awards at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the British Arrow and the Kinsale Shark Advertising Festival and an ADCE (Art Directors Club of Europe) among others. The script is co-written by himself. Martin-Calero e Isabel Pena, key creative member of the production company Horse Films applauded for her scripts written with Rodrigo Sorogoyen, deserving of the Goya awards for best original screenplay for The Beasts and for The Kingdom, among other works.

This Hispanic movie-French-Argentine It is a production of Caballo Films, Setembro Cine, Tandem Films, Tarea Fina, Noodles Production and El Llanto AIE which has the participation in Spain of RTVE y Prime Video, a streaming service that will release the film after its exclusive run in movie theaters, and the financing of the ICAA, the CAM and the Madrid City Council. The film, whose filming will last seven weeks in Madrid, Buenos Aires y The Silver, stars the young actresses Ester Expósito (Venus, Élite), Mathilde Ollivier (1899, Overload) and Malena Villa (The Angel, Butterflies).
