Filming of 'El cover', Secun de la Rosa's debut film, begins

'El cover', which will be filmed in Benidorm and Madrid, is a production by Nobody is perfect (Kiko Martínez), with the collaboration of Amazon Prime Video and Universal Music.

This week filming began The cover, the directorial debut of Secun de la Rosa (The call, The bar), after a long career as an author and theater director.

The film, whose filming will take place in different locations in Benidorm (Alicante) and Madrid, stars Goya Award-nominated actor Álex Monner (The next skin, The wild children) and Marina Salas (For a handful of kisses, I want you). The film focuses on Dani, a young man with a great inner conflict that paralyzes him: he loves music, but he is afraid of failing like his father, and he suffers thinking that he is one of them, like his grandfather, so he decides not to try, hiding in his authenticity. That summer, between his job as a waiter and nights with friends, he will meet Sandra. With her you will discover the struggle of anonymous singers, love and what it means not to be one more.
