One of Asia's leading communications technology providers has trusted Digital Act y Magna Systems for the integration of a platform that unifies IP/TS/SDI broadcast compliance logging and automated monitoring of your VOD workflows.

The client of Digital Act and the integrator Magna Systems, known for its wide range of services that includes fixed broadband, mobile telephony, digital services and pay television, was looking for a platform solution that would bring together the transmission compliance record and automating the monitoring of your workflows video on demand (VOD). Its objective was to shape a resilient solution that not only met strict regulatory requirements, but also streamlined the reuse of content for your video on demand service.

The requirements don't end there: the company needed a system capable of performing technical monitoring, including TS analysis, TS Native recording and As Run integration from its broadcast system; It had to be scalable to seamlessly accommodate an increasing number of channels and locations, and it had to meet all regulatory requirements, such as volume management, closed captioning control, multiple audio tracks, SCTE control, and technical alerts for issues such as missing metadata (including SNMP traps). Additionally, they needed features that were beyond compliance with regulations, such as advanced cropping and metadata options, ad detection, and a multiviewer with an interactive penalty box. Finally, the integrated solution had to take advantage of the Compliance and native TS recording to quickly and efficiently create clips for your VOD platform.

After an exhaustive evaluation process, Magna Systems y Digital Act were selected to implement the monitoring system Digital Act. The decision was influenced by the reliability, scalability and solid support offered by the platform. monitoring by Actus. Another point in favor was the API Rest to advanced clipping and custom XML integration, which solved the need to generate clips “quickly and efficiently.”

The deployment of this solution in two locations initially covers 226 canales, with the possibility of expanding it according to needs.
