Nostromo Pictures begins filming 'The Goldsmith's Secret'

Olga Osorio directs and writes 'El secreto del goldfebre', a romantic film starring Mario Casas and Michelle Jenner produced by Nostromo Pictures whose filming has already begun in Rioja Alavesa.

In The goldsmith's secret, Mario Casas He plays Juan Pablo, a prestigious goldsmith who travels from Spain to New York for an exhibition about his work. “On the way he will pass through his hometown, a journey that will take him to the past and the reunion with a great love that changed his life forever,” reads the synopsis of this film, which marks the actor's return to the romantic genre after the success of works such as Palm trees in the snow, Three meters above the sky o I want you.

Olga Osorio, who signs the script and direction, is supported by the team as Marc Miro in photography direction (across the sea), Anna Pujol in art direction (Stories not to tell), Alberto Valcárcel in costume design (The Crooked Lines of God) or Nordic composer Four (through your eyes). The film is based on the homonymous novel of the multi-award-winning Elia Barcelo published by Penguin Random House, which has been translated into more than 12 languages and has sold more than 100,000 copies.

Filming will last until end of July in different locations of Catalonia and towns of the Rioja Alavesa. The goldsmith's secret is a production by Adrián Guerra and Núria Valls for Nostromo Pictures with the participation of Movistar and the help of ICEC.
