MediaKind creates custom streaming solution in collaboration with Skreens

Screens Technology y MediaKind have shaped a tool that combines Skreens' content composition technology with the MK.IO streaming platform, offering the broadcast and OTT industry the ability to offer simultaneous video sources to viewers.

With the recently announced tool, directed especially for sports, e-Sports and live events, the public can switch between various camera angles or broadcasts, enjoying a viewing experience personalized on any device. This solution defined as “flexible and scalable” takes advantage of the server-side composition technology from Skreens so that operators can offer this service without modifying their existing infrastructure, meaning that even “low-power” devices will be able to support the experience without additional updates.

Compatible with media ranging from smart tvs until mobile phones, the solution works in pay per use mode, allowing broadcasters to adjust their costs to the schedules of live events. In this way, according to MediaKind and Skreens, “flexibility for viewers” ​​is encouraged and a “cost-effective” solution is achieved.
