Lynx launches the yellobrik PEC 1464, 12G-SDI encoder
The new H.264/265 PEC 1464 encoder from Lynx Technik improves the features of its predecessor, the PEC 1864, with multiple improvements for those users who need a solution to stream and record UHD content simultaneously.
Lynx's latest solution allows you to stream live content to a network of content distribution (CDN) while creating a backup recording for your archive, whether this signal is used for global distribution or for sending a signal within the same network. Also compatible with live streaming to video providers such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch o Rumble, the encoder can be used in contexts of multimedia content production, allowing users to distribute a single audiovisual stream to multiple recipients simultaneously.
This new yellobrik supports video formats up to 12G / 4K UHD y HDMI up to WQUXGA, as well as all common streaming formats. Video processing capabilities encompass a wide range of functionality to enhance content presentation, such as automatic logo insertion and the possibility of inserting custom images.
Downscaling functions optimize resolution management, while lowering the frame rate allows for seamless playback compatibility. Likewise, the functions of text overlay They further enrich the contents with dynamic textual elements. Also includes 8-channel embedded audio processing and has a web user interface easy to use with mobile devices for configuring settings.
Other improvements to the PEC 1464 include compatibility with 12G and with SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), video transport protocol that optimizes streaming performance on public networks such as the Internet. It is also compatible with RTMPS (Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure), which provides a higher level of security for live streaming and is capable of transmitting multiple protocols simultaneously.
