Medium Rush has appointed María Jesús Espinosa de los Monteros as the new director of Lacoproducer, taking over from José Miguel Contreras, who will focus on his responsibilities as Content Director of Prisa Media.

Espinosa de los Monteros, who will report to the executive president of Prisa Media, Carlos Nunez, will thus assume the boosting production and commercial management of audiovisual products for third parties and working on an audiovisual strategy that will add both fiction and entertainment television projects, as well as documentaries. He will integrate this new position among his current responsibilities as general director of Prisa Audio and its subsidiaries Podium Podcast.

María Jesús Espinosa de los Monteros (Valencia, 1982) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, with a diploma of advanced studies in History, Documentation and Film Analysis from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She worked in Barcelona for six years as production coordinator on the program The Alternative and she was a culture editor at the COPE network in Catalonia. In 2012, he co-founded the digital radio station The Outskirts, where he was in charge of editing and post-producing the podcasts, and also directed the literature program Joyce's whip (National Ondas Award for Radio Innovation in November 2013). In March 2016, she was appointed project manager of Podium Podcast and Podium Studios, the global Spanish-language podcast network of the Prisa Radio Group, of which she has been its director since 2019.​

Lacoproducera produces audiovisual content for television platforms and channels and projects from audio development to audiovisual version, as it is carrying out this season with the format Stretching the gum for Movistar+.
