Teatro Real with Lawo

He Royal Theater of Madrid has elevated its audio production with the recent integration of immersive audio technology from Theirs investing in state-of-the-art systems that establish a new standard of innovation and quality in opera venues.

Since its inauguration in 1850, the Royal Theater has continued to evolve, with the last renovation completed in 1997. Now, with the installation of Lawo's audio infrastructure, the institution is equipped to master the current and future audio demands of everything from opera productions to concerts and dance recitals.

The Royal Theater chose Lawo IP audio solutions by acquiring cOnsolas Lawo mc², stage boxes, plataforma HOME y routing units to improve your audio capabilities. The integration was executed by Telefónica which had network infrastructure based on Cisco.

Key components of the upgrade include two mc²56 MkIII consoles with 32 faders y uthe mc256 MkIII has 16 faders, powered by six A__UHD Core audio processing engines in redundant design, each of them with 1024 DSP processing channels. Perfectly integrated with the server SoundGrid of Waves, these consoles provide operators with access to Waves' extensive plug-in library for real-time signal processing, allowing them to conveniently control reverbs, multi-tap delays, graphic equalizers and multi-band compressors directly through the console's keyboard and touch screen. All plug-in settings can be easily stored and recalled with console snapshots.

A simple and efficient workflow

The consoles are integrated and supported by the existing audio infrastructure through stageboxes de audio con Lawo A__stage64/80.
