Radio Quer (Guadalajara) is renewed with the ultra-compact Capitol IP mixer from AEQ
The Capitol IP mixer AEQ stars in the latest technical renovation of the municipal business incubator of Quer (Guadalajara) from which Radio Quer, born in 2012, broadcasts.
Radio Quer was born as a collective project led by Edgard Delgado, councilor for new technologies at the Quer City Council. Without any limit, age or topics, Radio Quer has been created to encourage the creativity of young and not so young people in the town. "Excitement, joy and a lot of happiness, that is Radio Quer. But always with perseverance, since without it, the projects do not go ahead. Radio Quer is going to give a voice to many people who have a lot to tell. To people, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so. We open the door to the world and on that path, we are mere intermediaries," explains Delgado.
Recently, the technical management of the city council decided renew its main emissions study in the municipal business incubator, where digital technology AEQ occupies a prominent place. Specifically, it has been decided to install an ultra-compact mixer Capitol IP for reasons such as “its robustness, superior digital audio quality and simple operation.”
Capitol IP is a digital audio mixing console from 8 channel fixed configuration. The implementation of its IP connectivity is based on a single module of 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated into its chassis. One of the main qualities of this system is its wide ticket capacity available: 4 microphone/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links. Likewise, it is compatible with 16 AoIP channels over two Ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels via fiber optic input.
