Radio San Vicente goes digital with AEQ Capitol IP
The municipal station of San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante) incorporates the new Capitol IP digital audio console in its secondary studio to comply with the station's technical renewal plan.
Radio San Vicente (RSV) 95.2FM, the municipal station of San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante), has opted for IP technology AEQ to renew your audio console. Since its inception in 2017, the station has relied on AEQ technology, including mixing consoles, audiocodecs and automation systems from this manufacturer.
RSV has decided to incorporate the new Capitol IP digital audio console in its secondary studio to comply with the station's technical renewal plan, which transforms this studio and makes the technological leap from an analog console to a digital one, having until now used an AEQ BC 500 analog console.
The AEQ Capitol IP 8-fader console with IP connectivity and double hybrid telephone, is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated in its “core” which can be expanded with another 16 AoIP DANTE input/output channels and a dual digital telephone hybrid module.
Capitol IP is ideal for this type of small environments since it adapts to the common needs of small and medium-sized stations such as automatic cut-off of monitors, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication...
Despite his reduced size (19” wide control surface and 2 rack unit motor), this digital console can be configured in very different ways, adapting to multiple day-to-day scenarios at this station: self-control, booth control, mobile units, continuous content broadcast, sound production, mixed configurations, etc.
In this way, the station has a ecosystem of AEQ which is complemented, using this Capitol IP together with an AEQ Arena and other systems such as Phoenix portable audiocodecs, SystelSet systems and AudioPlus manual and automatic sound emission systems for broadcast.
