Transfer 2025 opens the 5th edition of its call for startups with deep tech innovation projects
The fifth edition of the 'Open Call for Deep Tech Start-ups' of Transfer, European forum for science, technology and innovation that will be held from March 12 to 14 at FYCMA (Málaga), seeks to enhance the visibility of emerging companies with disruptive technological projects before investors and experts.
Organized in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the call has been designed to highlight startups national and international with projects in deep tech, a sector that encompasses advanced technologies with high barriers to entry that require deep scientific knowledge and significant investment to reach the global market. Interested companies can register for the call until next January 13, 2025 through the Transfer website www.forotransfiere.com.
The startup winner, who will be announced during the forum, will receive a cash prize of 1,000 euros and the possibility of participating in Transfer 2026 through the content program and access to the networking agenda. The selection committee for the fifth 'Open Call for Deep Tech Start-ups' will evaluate criteria such as project feasibility in the market, the scalability, social and environmental impact, your degree in subject deep tech, as well as the capacity of the human team. During the final phase, the five startups selected will present their proposals to investors y specialized experts in a face-to-face session within the framework of the forum.
In this edition, the committee is made up of representatives of key entities such as the Andalusian Business Angels Network Association (AABAN), Association of Scientific and Technological Parks of Spain (APTE), National Association of European Business and Innovation Centers (ANCES), Bullnet Capital, Clave Mayor, Andalusian Technology Corporation (CTA), Deloitte, ENISA, Enterprise Europe Network – Andalucía Trade, Finnova, Finnovating, General Foundation of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (Foundation CSIC), Indraventures, LINK by UMA-ATECH, National Digital Content Pole, Solvere Capital, SPAINCAP and Tecnalia Ventures, as well as a representation of the United Kingdom, guest country in 2025, and the international delegation of Transfer 2025.
Transfer, which in March 2025 will celebrate its fourteenth edition, is defined as the “largest European forum” dedicated to knowledge transfer and open innovation. The event annually brings together professionals, companies, institutions and public administrations to promote scientific-technological development as an engine of competitiveness and progress.
