Madrid TV Pitchbox

The platform Filmmarket Hub has opened the call for projects for the third edition of Madrid TV Pitchbox, its pitching event focused on Spanish fiction series in the development phase, which will take place on January 14 in Madrid. Once again, seven projects will be selected to make a sales pitch to the main Spanish fiction companies.

Maintaining the same format as all Filmarket Hub Pitchbox events, the seven selected projects will have seven minutes to make a sales pitch with visual support to the invited companies. Once the pitching session is over, a networking appetizer will take place where projects and executives can share impressions and contacts.

Filmarket Hub is an online marketplace that connects film and television projects in development with companies in the audiovisual sector: production companies, television stations, OTT platforms, international sales agencies and distributors. This is an initiative that was born with the objective of giving visibility to the best emerging talent and promoting agreements to produce new projects at an international level. It currently has more than 20,000 users from all over Europe and Latin America.

Under the Pitchbox brand, it also organizes pitching events where the best projects on the platform are presented to prominent companies in the industry. In addition to Madrid TV Pitchbox, Filmarket Hub has events for series in the United Kingdom and Mexico. Last September, the second edition of London TV Pitchbox was held, where British series in development were presented to executives from companies such as NBCUniversal, Red Arrow Studios, Sky and Working Title TV. Additionally, the London event included a talk by Peter Harness, screenwriter of successful series such as Doctor Who o McMafia.
