Iberia Sabana documentary Onza Azor - MIP London

'Iberia and savannah: a wild life' will establish connections between the Iberian pasture and the African savannah with 4K images, as presented in MIP London Azor Productions y Onza.

During its 52 minutes, Iberia and savanna: a wild life explores the existence of a extraordinary parallelism between these two worlds separated by thousands of kilometers and how they function in strikingly similar ways, hosting species that have developed parallel survival strategies. In the words of Eduardo Barrachina, director of the documentary: "I had always heard about the landscape of the Iberian dehesa as an environment very similar to that of an African savanna, and at a very young age I was able to verify it. However, I only thought that it was a landscape issue, but no. The similarities between both ecosystems go much further,"

Iberia and Savannah: A wild life It stands out especially for showing the common points of the lives and behaviors of very similar species, but that inhabit different ecosystems such as foxes, jackals, deer, Thompson's gazelles, genets, Iberian wolves, wild boars, warthogs, among others. He climate, orography and even the appearance of the landscape itself They condition the lives of their inhabitants, and they adapt to their demands.

The documentary, which will be released in 2025 in RTVE, is distributed internationally by Onza Distribution and is presented as one of its main novelties in MIP London (February 23 to 27). This title joins the Spanish distributor's growing list of nature documentaries, which have recently achieved significant sales: How much is a Whale worth?” (TV Monaco), Sentinels of the wind (RTP Portugal) Wild stories from Madrid (CCTV, RTP and a Polish channel).

Gonzalo Sagardía, CEO of Onza, shows the company's satisfaction at having been part of the production of the documentary: “We are delighted to participate in the production of Iberia and Savannah: A wild life.
