Albert Solé will premiere 'Examen de conscience' on Netflix, his new documentary about abuse in the Church
The journalist and director, winner of a Goya Award for his documentary 'Bucharest, the lost memory', will premiere this three-chapter documentary series on Netflix on January 25.
Netflix will premiere next January 25 Examination of consciencea, a three-episode documentary series directed by journalist and director Albert Solé, winner of a Goya Award for his documentary Bucharest, lost memory.
The documentary series explores, through testimonies from victims, journalists, experts and religious, cases of sexual abuse in institutions of the Spanish Catholic Church. This new original production exposes the complexity and magnitude of this situation.
“This documentary series is one of the most complicated challenges I have faced in my career: due to the breadth of the topic, which most likely covers magnitudes never imagined, and because we have had to manage very difficult personal stories buried under decades of a thick blanket of silence,” said Albert Solé.
Examination of conscience is produced by Zeta Cinema, Zeta Audiovisual y Minimal Films.
