LucidLink NAB 2024

The storage collaboration platform aimed at creatives, LucidLink, will present its latest innovations at NAB 2025 with the full launch of its latest platform.

This version represents an important advance in the cloud-based creative collaboration, as it offers greater business readiness and new capabilities designed to streamline production of teams of all sizes.

Following the introduction of the new LucidLink in November 2024, this latest version introduces next-generation features to expand creative workflows, improve accessibility, and provide new levels of efficiency and control:

  • Mobile application for iOS and Android- Customers can access files in real time in the palm of their hand with Android and iOS apps.
  • Web browsing- Users can instantly explore and navigate file spaces directly from their browser; no need to install any software.
  • Dynamic tiered organization– Enterprise file spaces with dynamic tiering enabled can accommodate multiple storage classes, seamlessly combining “hot” data for active projects with “cold” data for long-term retention. This ensures a single, efficient and cost-effective solution for managing data throughout the project lifecycle, keeping everything accessible without added complexity.
  • AWS High Performance Storage and Marketplace Availability- LucidLink's default offering is now backed by AWS S3 storage, providing the ideal balance of performance, cost, and predictability, while eliminating the additional cost of egress. With LucidLink now available in the AWS Marketplace, customers can seamlessly apply their existing contractual commitments to AWS to their purchase, further simplifying procurement and budgeting.
  • SAML-based single sign-on (SSO)– Expanded support for enterprise identity providers, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and others.
  • SSO for Android- Secure authentication for mobile workflows, improving access control.

Peter Thompson, CEO of LucidLink, highlights that "at NAB 2025, we will be delighted to show how LucidLink continues to lead the way in remote and hybrid collaboration," said "Creative teams face constant pressure to deliver high-quality work faster than ever. The latest advancements in our platform remove the obstacles that slow down teams, enabling real-time collaboration from anywhere, so they can focus on creating instead of managing files."
