The Norwegian company's new interactive platform is simple and intended to reap benefits from interactivity and social media. Designed as a toolkit, it allows the user to work across any media platform (including Facebook, mobile, broadcast and digital signage) without writing a single line of code.

The Norwegian Never.no will launch at IBC 2010 its multifunctional cloud-based interactive platform that allows broadcasters to get the most out of interactive services and their relationship with the viewer, the advertiser and their relationship with social networks. Designed as a toolkit, it allows the user to work across any media platform (including Facebook, mobile, broadcast and digital signage) without writing a single line of code.

The CEO of Never.no, Lars Lauritzsen, commented that this new platform "responds to a decade of accumulated experience. It will offer a broad and proven set of interactive tools, empowering the user to develop their own interactive services. And making available to everyone the potential of a cloud-based platform, which eliminates a large part of the time, headaches and startup costs, drastically lowering the entry threshold."

Today, broadcasters of all sizes are experimenting with integrating viewer-generated content such as Twitter feeds, Facebook feeds, and SMS messages into their broadcast infrastructure. However, until now, launching these types of services that help monetize the business and create a closer relationship with the viewer had to develop custom applications and integrations that were expensive, slow, and usually error-prone.

Never.no's new platform offers countless services, including viewer polls, voting, chat, Twitter and Facebook...and all in one package that runs in the cloud. By connecting to more than 70 industry-standard protocols, including social media APIs and broadcast commands, Never.no offers users everything they need to build, deploy and maintain interactive services across multiple platforms.
