Prime Video begins filming the technological thriller 'Day One'

Zebra Productions, NewCo Audiovisual and Documentaries in the Canary Islands, with the associated production of the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation, have started filming the new series for Prime Video 'Day One'.

This ambitious thriller that explores the complex relationship between technology and humanity in the digital age, raises a fundamental question: How to preserve our humanity in a technological future? Day One will be available exclusively on Prime Video in 2026 as part of the Prime subscription.

The series stars Álex González (Operation Black Tide), Alba Planas (The red virgin) and Asier Etxeandía (Dating Barcelona T2), and Renata Notni (Zorro), Iván Massagué (Wicked) and Jordi Mollà (Jack Ryan), among others. The special collaboration of Mireia Oriol (I'm Nevenka), among others.

Ulises Albet (Álex González), a computer prodigy, left Barcelona and the technological world behind after the suicide of his sister, a victim of online harassment. Day One will be filmed in some of the most emblematic technological locations in Barcelona, ​​such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS), the ALBA Synchrotron, Talent Arena, the Collserola Tower, the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the 22@ District, spaces that perfectly reflect the fusion between innovation and tradition that characterizes the city of Barcelona.
