Juan Baixeras will lead the Digital Channels Division at Mediaset España
Juan Baixaras joins Mediaset Spain as director of the Digital Channels Division. In addition, the group creates the Digital Business and Sports Management Division with Luis Barrós at the helm.
Baixeras, an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the digital industry, will lead the development and expansion of the group in the digital field and will report directly to Alberto Carullo, general director of Television and Digital at Mediaset España.
For its part, Luis Barros will take charge of the new Digital Business and Sports Management Division, reporting directly to Massimo Musolino, CEO of Management and Operations of Mediaset España.
With a degree in Information Sciences and a doctorate in International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master in Artificial Intelligence from the IIA (Institute of Artificial Intelligence), Juan Baixeras is an expert in directing comprehensive digital strategies, with a focus on user acquisition, monetization of digital content and in the design of agile organizational structures that foster innovative cultures throughout the entire business growth cycle.
Over the last twelve years, he has led the transformation and expansion of business and digital subscription models in leading entertainment and content companies, such as Amazon (Audible), Grupo Planeta (Casa del Libro), PlayGround, 2BTube, Zinkia and Little Smart Planet.
With a high commitment to the leadership of the future, Baixeras is, in the academic field, associate professor of Subscription Business Models, Digital Content and Digital Transformation at the prestigious business schools ISDI and IE University.
