Magewell will debut the new Director One all-in-one monitor at NAB 2025

Offering a comprehensive production and streaming solution, the new Director One monitor from Magewell will take his first steps in NAB 2025 (April 6-9, Las Vegas) enhancing the capabilities of Director Mini.

Director One offers all the advantages of the model Director Mini, including mixing multi-input, graphics, streaming, recording and monitoring, but in a larger format, including greater flexibility of AV and IP inputs; multiple production tools; extensive output capabilities, and a wide range of control options, including the integrated touch screen, the Director Utility mobile app, a browser-based web interface, and optional third-party controllers. Everything, manageable from an AMOLED touch screen 7” with a brightness of 800 nits and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

Director One is capable of managing up to two HDMI inputs, two USB AV inputs, HTML web pages, file-based media assets, three mobile cameras and three simultaneous IP sources including SRT streams, RTMP streams, RTSP streams, NDI High Bandwidth, and NDI HX. As for outputs, both models support NDI HX, SRT and RTMP streams, as well as a USB-C interface configurable for UVC output. Director Mini's USB-C interface can alternatively be connected to a monitor DisplayPort (including HDMI monitors with an optional adapter), while Director One adds a dedicated HDMI output. Both solutions can also record productions to an SD card or built-in storage.

In the section of the connectivityWhile the Director Mini supports third-party USB mobile modems for Internet connectivity, the Director One offers a built-in 4G modem. Both models also support wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity (with dedicated 4G and Wi-Fi antennas on Director One) and can combine connections with network bonding technology from partner Speedify.
