The Laguna family of encoder/decoders from Sapec will show its demanded function as a gateway in the framework of NAB 2025 (April 6 – 9, Las Vegas).

Thanks to this new development, Sapec's solution will be able to offer up to 8 IP to IP conversions enviable eight different destinations, either through SMPTE 2022 standard or with new proposals such as SRT o RIST. Laguna, designed to operate in processes such as multichannel video contribution, distribution via DTT, bidirectional applications, transport over public IP networks or up/down conversions, is also compatible with environments SMPTE 2110, which has meant that during the last year it has been part of some of the “most avant-garde” installations in European television environments.
Visitors to the Las Vegas show will also be able to enjoy a wide selection of demos in Laguna environments, including the license application UHD for Quad (LMP4000) and Octal (LMP8000) versions; the display of thumbnails, or the possibility of performing analysis and monitoring through the ETR-290 specification.

All without losing sight of the IP contexts, as explained Miguel Ángel Cristobal, CEO of the company: "The IP universe presents a series of challenges, but also opportunities. SAPEC is more than prepared to offer a response to its challenges with a large family of products prepared to face the most demanding workflows. Our R&D team has worked intensely to remain at the forefront of the global Broadcast industry, and at NAB 2025 the fruits of their efforts can be discovered."
