The Roku streaming ecosystem arrives in Argentina with its own line of hardware
After consolidating in markets such as the United States, Mexico and Canada, Year arrives in Argentina accompanying its video-on-demand proposal unlocked by the Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus peripherals with a line of televisions called Noblex Roku TV.
Born in the 90s under the impulse of Anthony Wood, Roku has currently established itself as a streaming platform supported by a resounding operating system, created to power streaming devices and Roku TV models and giving access to a wide selection of movies, series, live television, news or sports through thousands of applications. Now, this proposal reaches the Argentine market giving access to more than 5,000 free and paid streaming services, as well as more than 100,000 different contents.
The Roku Streaming Stick allows you to make any TV compatible with Roku. The basic model offers a streaming experience “intuitive and enjoyable” including the Roku streaming platform, features like universal search, recommendations personalized content, saved list y voice remote control. On the other hand, the Plus model adds capabilities UHD.
In addition to Streaming Stick devices, Roku also offers streaming models. Roku TV: TVs manufactured by OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partners that use the streaming platform's operating system. Created in collaboration with the local brand Noblex, these televisions will be available in four versions: 32″ HD LED, 43″ FHD LED, 50″ UHD LED and 55″ UHD LED.
Beyond being able to have access to the Roku platform, it has been confirmed that at its launch the Argentine population will have access to free content in applications such as Pluto TV, Runtime, Free TV, ViX, Crunchyroll, F1 TV, NBA, WWE Network, Claro Video and many others, as well as premium global streaming services such as Disney+, Universal+, Netflix, Max, Prime Video, Apple TV+ o Paramount+.
