In collaboration with its distributor in Taiwan, Oceanic Trading Corporation, AEQ organizes a conference at the Radio Taiwan International headquarters in Taipei to publicize its celebrated solutions.

taiwanBased on the solid commercial relationship with its distributor in Taiwan, Oceanic Trading Corporation OTC, AEQ has organized a technology conference in the capital Taipei within the facilities of the country's main international broadcaster: Radio Taiwan International RTI. The center of attention was the AEQ BC-2000 D digital technology currently used on a wide range of commercial equipment, such as the Arena mixing console, the BC2000D 1024x1024 channel audio matrix, the AEQ BC2000D MPX multiplexer for E1/T1/J1 lines or the new Titan matrix of 5120x5120 channel size.

AEQ brought to Taiwan an Arena unit with a control surface of 15 pageable faders in a black finish, offering 7 AES or SPDIF stereo digital inputs and 4 outputs, 4 microphone inputs with the possibility of phantom power, 12 mono analog I/Os and a pair of stereo headphone outputs. The supply was completed with 3 operator licenses to control BC-2000 D and Titan family audio matrices.

Wide participation

Regarding these units and especially the technological possibilities of the BC-2000 D frame as a router or multiplexer, some lively sessions were held with extensive participation of RTI and OTC technicians, where all the possibilities that the new digital technology offers with respect to the old and well-known equipment of the analog era were shown, clarifying numerous concepts and laying the foundations for future joint projects in the country.

Currently, the Arena unit supplied is part of a training bank to train RTI's technical staff in the use of the new generation of digital audio mixers developed by AEQ, with the final objective being the installation of the equipment in one of the 30 operational Onair studios that RTI currently has in its facilities in Taipei.

These technical sessions have been coordinated from AEQ by the commercial manager for Asia, Álvaro Martínez, in cooperation with the commercial director of OTC, Tu Neng Rong, and the support of RTI's technical services led by engineers Chi-Ming Wang and Peter Chen.
