School of Trades: the free training program of the ECAM
The ECAM, School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid, launches a new call for the School of Trades, a training program with more than twenty courses focused on different areas of audiovisual.
The courses of Trade School They seek to enhance employability from a perspective practical, always with the objective of guaranteeing quality training available to everyone. For this reason, its Trade School courses are subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and the Next Generation Funds of the European Union. In the words of Sara Bamba, head of the ECAM Trades School: “The offer of the ECAM Trades School plays a fundamental role in bringing audiovisual training closer to all people to promote diversity and inclusion in the sector and to guarantee training that allows the industry to be nourished with professionals with specific knowledge in various areas.”
In this edition, ECAM has launched a training offer made up of intensive introductory and specialization courses, all of them short-term and aimed at job placement. Among the proposals are the Intensive Assistant Director Course, Intensive Script Course, Intensive Camera Assistant Course in Photochemistry or Intensive Introduction to Scriptwriting Course, among others.
"We want to propose a training that, on the one hand, introduces students to certain disciplines and, on the other, also offers specialization in certain fields. That is why it is a plural training that meets the current needs of the sector. In this new call we repeat courses that have generated a lot of demand and, at the same time, we offer new courses according to the needs and opportunities of the industry," commented the same Bamba, thus attending to the mission of the ECAM to promote the labor insertion of new generations of professionals, strengthening the continuous training and the specialization and recycling of active professionals.
