Vislink launches MeshConnect: private wireless mesh for live shows

IBC 2025 hosts the world presentation of MeshConnect, development of Vislink which seeks to provide greater flexibility to live productions by deploying a network of more than 500 nodes.

MeshConnect defined as an IP mesh node resistant and high performance that creates a self-configuring and self-healing network capable of supporting more than 500 nodes. Development seeks to reduce dependence on common temporary wired environments, while providing the flexibility needed for any size production – from compact studio recordings to large-scale sporting events and festivals.

The Vislink system is built on a “in double band", which allows to offer optimal coverage and resilience in varied environments while offering interoperability with cameras, communication systems and control systems from multiple vendors. MeshConnect offers these features with a ultra-low latency performance, a construction with IP54 rating and a boot time less than 60 seconds.
