Telestream integra Vantage en Mimir, Iconik, Embrace y Broadteam
During IBC 2025, Telestream has announced the integration of the Vantage ecosystem with the platforms of Mimir, Iconik, Embrace y Broadteam, enabling broadcasters to automate critical workflows, scale operations on demand, and connect cloud and on-premises environments with precision.
The announcement reinforces the strategy Global Ingest of Telestream, which seeks to unify live intake in a single smart channel enriched with structured metadata. This deployment aims to accelerate collaboration, improve search capability, and ultimately ensure content flows seamlessly between on-premises, cloud, and hybrid operations.
The integration between Vantage and Mimir allows to improve the cloud native media management for news, sports and enterprise content operations by automating processing within Mimir's browser-based, AI-powered platform. When content enters a Mimir input repository via live ingest, upload, or another workflow, Vantage automatically runs ingestion, quality control, and metadata creation in the background. This allows editors and producers to access, search and work with media in near real time without manual delays.
On the other hand, the arrival of the ecosystem of Vantage a Iconik admit hybrid workflows that unify local and cloud storage into a single searchable environment. Triggered by folder location or metadata, Vantage can manage ingest, proxy creation, quality control, and send processed assets back to Iconik for review and distribution. Additionally, the integration allows editors to work in Adobe Premiere Pro with content as it is captured, while Vantage mirrors the originals to the cloud for remote access.
By coordinating with Vantage, Embrace Pulse-IT simplifies complex, multi-step workflows by combining Vantage media processing with low-code/no-code visual orchestration by Embrace. Embrace's intuitive interface allows teams to seamlessly design, enable and monitor workflows, from ingestion and QA to transcoding and metadata transformation, all without programming, while Vantage takes care of the heavy processing.
With regards to Skylog, Vantage allows you to transform live ingestion and multimedia indexing. Operators can enrich growing files in real time with manual or automated metadata, ensuring every key moment is captured accurately. Through an intuitive, AI-assisted web-based interface, operators can tag, annotate, organize and rate content as it is produced. From a three-pointer in basketball to a crucial reveal on a reality show, rich, timecode-linked metadata travels seamlessly through the workflow.
These browser-based solutions allow users creative teams work from anywhere, while Telestream Vantage offers proven, reliable and secure media processing behind the scenes. Together, they accelerate all stages of the process, reducing manual effort, accelerating delivery times and ensuring that high-quality content reaches audiences quickly and efficiently.
EBU's DMF protocol comes to Telestream
During IBC 2025, Telestream has confirmed the development of one of the first workflow of the sector developed for the protocol Dynamic Media Facility (DMF), an initiative of the EBU that redefines broadcasting infrastructures beyond the norm SMPTE 2110. Based on a fully software-defined and hardware-independent foundation, the DMF promotes a cloud native architecture with a unified media exchange layer for faster than real-time processing, enhanced cybersecurity, and vendor-neutral implementation.
Telestream's adoption of the DMF underscores its commitment to offering future-ready workflows and based on standards that maximize flexibility, reduce complexity and enable “true interoperability” across the media supply chain.
