Atresmedia returns to MIPCOM 2025 with six original projects

The 2025 edition of MIPCOM Cannes will allow Atresmedia present its last six big fiction bets to the television industry, consolidating in the process its position as a “globally successful” Spanish factory.

Facing MIPCOM Cannes 2025, Atresmedia once again opts for fiction among the key genres of its global expansion; a strategy that has so far proven to be a complete success. It will also do so by reinforcing the role of Atresmedia Sales as a key distributor, a division that reinforces its role with its own stand.

Among the most notable titles that Atresmedia presents in this new edition of MIPCOM is the series of Antenna 3 Dreams of freedom, ficción más vista de la televisión en España y líder cada tarde y What are you waiting for? que ya ha renovado por una segunda temporada tras su estreno en exclusiva en atresplayer. También tendrá una importante presencia Las Hijas de la Criada, la esperada adaptación del fenómeno literario de Sonsoles Ónega, ganador del Premio Planeta 2023, que se estrena el 30 de noviembre en atresplayer antes de su llegada a Antena 3.

Paralelamente, en el MIPCOM 2025 también tendrán un papel clave tres ficciones originales of atresplayer. On the one hand, La Ruta Vol. 2. Ibiza, the second season of the acclaimed original series from atresplayer, which became one of the revelation fictions of recent years and which arrives on the platform on October 26; Mariliendre, the first original musical series from atresplayer, and 33 days, the first series created by the prestigious investigative journalist Carles Porta that will land on atresplayer in 2026.

Some of the series born in the Atresmedia factory have become authentic international phenomena, consolidating the group as a brand of trust and quality within the global market, as confirmed by formats such as The Money Heist o Vis a vis. The latest to join a long list of successes has been Angela, with a reach of more than 40 countries.
