Following the expansion process of its digital transmissions, the Mexican broadcaster has awarded Jampro on a turnkey basis a total of six transmission points with antennas, combiners and mask filters to expand its broadcast network.

According to Tv Azteca's engineering department, the older systems, which were installed by Jampro in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, offered excellent performance, motivating the company to sign a new contract.

In this case, these are six complete antenna installations with multichannel UHF broadband panels, from the JUHD line, as well as UHF slot antennas from the Prostar line. Each of the installations includes Jampro mask filters, combiners, power dividers and power lines.

The JUHD panels are prepared for digital television transmission, while the UHF slot models are compatible with TDT, NTSC and PAL, which will leave the Tv Azteca infrastructure ready for digital transmissions. With constant impedance filters and channel combiners it is possible to combine analog and digital TV transmitters in very small premises.

Alex Perchevitch, president of Jampro, has commented that "in recent years, we have particularly seen an increase in the number of radio stations and networks that need a complete project through the commissioning of services. Like Tv Azteca, there is no doubt that clients manage to save and, most importantly, with significant savings over time."

Tv Azteca is based in Mexico City and covers the entire country, in addition to being available on some US operators. The network also has Azteca 13 Internacional which is distributed across thirteen countries in Central and South America.
