Atomos launches Ninja TX Go: recording up to 6Kp30 RAW from a 5″ monitor and 1500 nits
Ninja TX Go evolves Ninja TX atoms to deliver a monitor/recorder designed for HDMI-based cameras with a brighter display, advanced monitoring tools, professional codecs, camera control, cloud connectivity and up to 6K30p RAW recording options.
Through its 5-inch HDR touch screen and 1500 nits, Ninja TX Go presents users with professional tools such as ELZONE, waveform, vectorscope, focus peaking and much more, providing “total control” over framing, exposure and color accuracy on set. The system is capable of recording directly into CFexpress Type B or on external storage USB-C SSD, and is compatible with the formats Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx y H.265/H.264.
With RAW-compatible HDMI inputs, Ninja TX Go can record up to 6Kp30 RAW, although what really differentiates this model from the previous Ninja is its integrated camera control, a free feature that allows you to directly adjust exposure parameters, such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO, on compatible cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Z CAM and other leading brands. In the words of Peter Barber, CEO of atoms: "With Ninja TX Go, we bring the power and flexibility of our flagship Ninja TX to an even broader community of creators. It is a lightweight and incredibly powerful monitor-recorder that offers professional-grade monitoring, recording and control without compromise. It is perfect for creators who want the best visual fidelity and workflow flexibility directly from their HDMI cameras."
Ninja TX GO also includes Wi-Fi integrated for smooth operation from camera to cloud, including 20 GB of free ATOMOSphere cloud storage, as well as live streaming via IS 6/HX3. For those who need even more advanced options, Ninja TX, released earlier this year, adds SDI in/out, AirGlu wireless timecode and expanded recording capabilities 8Kp30 RAW for cinema cameras. Both models work with the platform Atoms.
Ninja TX GO is now available at distributors atoms from all over the world and in the brand's web store. Camera control will come in the form of a free update which will be available soon for both Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX.
