The TV Academy announces the finalists for the 2025 Iris Awards

The content creators Ana Brito and Television Academy.

The winners in the 20 categories that the academics vote before a notary will be announced during the ceremony that will take place on February 16, 2026 at the Teatro Real in Madrid. These awards, which can be followed exclusively by Movistar Plus+, their purpose is to distinguish the excellence of professionals and entertainment, fiction and informative programs from general networks and platforms for the 2025 season.

This year, The Iris Awards launch visual identity and story renewed under the motto you make them. The new logo is based on the shape of the eye, with a circular design that evokes both the contour of the iris and the lens of a camera. This circle represents the constant cycle of television in our lives and its infinite capacity to generate memories, emotions and the future. Because television is the reflection of a society that connects with the diversity of people, spreading stories from the same common center to all corners.

Among the main novelties of this edition, the creation of the Special Audience Award, an award that will be voted on by viewers through the Television Academy website.
