AWS Releases Elemental MediaConnect Router: Dynamic Routing of Live Video Between Sources and Destinations

MediaConnect Router, dynamic routing solution for assets within the network AWS, seeks to optimize content delivery, reduce transport latency and improve reliability compared to standard transport technologies.

The new function of AWS transform to the form of Create and manage complex live video workflows in the cloud, eliminating the need to reconfigure infrastructure as routing needs change. To do this, MediaConnect Router allows complex scenarios like the exchange between primary and supporting sources, routing regional variants independently and multi-source management. In this way, search eliminate operational overhead and the costs of unused capacity.

The development of AWS, a fully managed feature, supports routing between inputs and outputs at any supported region, as well as between endpoints private and public. The feature is now available through the console MediaConnect, using the MediaConnect API or AWS CDK.

MediaConnect Rotuer works independently or together with existing MediaConnect flows. It can also be part of a larger video workflow with AWS Elemental, a family of multimedia services that helps customers process, monetize and deliver video on a global scale.
