One of the great musical rituals on the international calendar, the Berlin Philharmonic's New Year's Eve Concert will reach 50 movie theaters in more than 30 locations in Spain live and via satellite with distribution of Digital Version.

This Wednesday, December 31, at 5:30 p.m. (peninsular time), under the direction of the charismatic Kirill Petrenko, chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic, the orchestra will offer a festive, vibrant program full of contrasts, designed to excite both expert listeners and those approaching this repertoire for the first time.

The 120-minute concert will combine romanticism, lyricism and modernity with select works by Tchaikovsky; pieces that evoke the elegance and passion of Gounod's French opera; vibrant excerpts from Bizet that transport us to the heart of his musical narratives; Massenet's lyrical and emotional melodies, which move the soul; compositions full of liveliness and color by Chabrier, and finally, classics by Gershwin, which will provide a touch of American exuberance and dynamism.

As a finishing touch, the program will feature the special participation of French tenor Benjamin Bernheim, one of the most acclaimed lyrical voices of the moment, known for his vocal elegance, expressiveness and stage presence.

More than a concert, it is a collective celebration of music at its finest: virtuosity, beauty and emotion shared in an evening that marks the passage to the new year. Thanks to large screen projection and surround sound, viewers will be able to live in their cinemas the unique experience of saying goodbye to 2025 alongside one of the most prestigious groups in the world.
