2M TV takes advantage of Zero Density's XR to bring spectacularity to its Africa Cup coverage

La plataforma Reality de Zero Density has allowed the Moroccan public broadcaster 2M TV introduce real-time graphics and extended reality elements in two of its flagship sports programs, 'Planète Foot' and 'Replay', in view of the Africa Cup.

To make this vision a reality, 2M trusted the real-time charting platform Reality of Zero Density, but also in the talent of two top-level studios: Video-Events, who managed the technical implementation, XR set operation and live multi-camera synchronization, and Hairdressing Group, who designed the custom real-time graphics and stunning visuals.

Looking ahead to the renovated set of Planet Football, technical teams focused on deploying a XR multi-camera system live that guaranteed all camera angles maintained the virtual illusion in real time. The deployment allows you to synchronize the camera movements with virtual elements to avoid any “sliding” or visual delay, as well as using the augmented reality (AR) to expand the physical boundaries of the studio, creating a sense of scale that traditional sets cannot match.

2M TV also carried out a study with green screen powered by Reality for your format Replay, which tested the rendering, embedding and compositing capabilities of the Zero Density solution.
