wTVision provided special coverage on the occasion of the Copa América
wTVision has provided a wide range of services during the 2015 Copa América, the most important soccer championship in South America recently held in Chile.
On the occasion of the recent celebration of the Copa América in Chile, the creative team of wTVision designed a new graphic image, to go on air not only in this tournament, but also in all the qualifying matches of the 2018 South American World Cup and in the friendly matches.
After all the creative work, wTVision prepared its FootballStats CG product, with a complete graphics package, which was then used by the client, to collect statistics and launch the graphics in real time.
In order to provide higher levels of understanding to fans, with in-depth analysis and statistics, wTVision integrated additional data by team and by each player, which came from its partner OPTA, the official statistics provider of the Copa América.
All the data obtained was stored in SportStats Center, a database system that manages all the accumulated statistics of the Championship, and updates the ranking match by match, as well as the statistics of all the teams and each player.
A MatchCenter was also available for fans, with all statistics, results and standings in real time.
Finally, to complement the workflow, an augmented reality system (ChyronHego) was used to broadcast virtual advertising, logos (with and without scores) on the field, logos on the studio set and a giant screen on the field of play with highlights of the game.
