wTVision gives graphic coverage to a new edition of 'La Volta' a Portugal

wTVision has covered a new edition of The Vault, the largest cycling event in Portugal that this year has completed 80 editions. From August 1 to 12, the Mediapro group company has been present at every stage, ensuring that the most relevant information was presented with the most attractive graphics.

Throughout the country, 4 wTVision specialists equipped with a mobile unit have followed the 21 cycling teams and 150 athletes, always surrounded by fans and curious onlookers, with the aim of ensuring that nothing went unnoticed by the spectators.

As on previous occasions, the CyclingStats CG, scouting system and on-air graphics controller from wTVision dedicated to cycling competitions. With this program, the distance to the finish line is calculated, the time intervals between groups and it even shows the identifications of the cyclists and their performances in real time.

wTVision also guaranteed the Integration with timing and all geographic data were collected with wTracker, a GPS system located on three motorcycles that followed the race.

The commentators also received relevant information during the live broadcast thanks to an application Web Commentator, designed to issue updated statistics and in-depth analysis that help better inform the audience.

wTVision's collaboration with The Vault Portugal has also included a live presentation of the teams and contributions in the RTP program There is a return, where information about each team and athlete has been presented in real-time graphics.
