Madrid Metro Filming 2025

Throughout 2025, different Madrid Metro stations hosted a total of 23 filmings thanks to a renewed interest in the suburban and the facilities provided by the transport company itself and the Madrid organizations supporting the filming, such as the Madrid Film Office and the Film Madrid Region.

Throughout the year, more than 1,200 professionals participated in these productions, which accumulated nearly 200 hours of recording. Among the most notable projects is the film adaptation of Ash in the mouth, based on the novel by Brenda Navarro, for which the Mexican director Diego Luna chose Barrio del Pilar as one of the many locations where this story takes place, filmed between Madrid, Barcelona and Mexico City.

Likewise, Fernando González Molina filmed scenes of My dear lady, production linked to The Javis and written by Alana S. Portero. At this same station, Juan Cavestany and Álvaro Fernández Armero filmed sequences from the series Great of Spain, starring Antonio de la Torre in the role of Leandro, a marquis obsessed with obtaining the noble title that gives its name to the fiction.

For its part, Herrera Oria became another of the audiovisual epicenters of the year by hosting the filming of The last song, directed by Maria Lorente Becerra. Next to the Paco de Lucía station, it also served as a setting for the action comedy The suitcase, of Carlos Theron, as well as for scenes of The Protected, under the direction of Oriol Ferrer, and the third season of The Immortal.

The international projection of Metro de Madrid was also reinforced in 2025 with foreign productions. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon He recorded in the old Novitiate hallway and in the Plaza de España station, transformed to recreate apocalyptic aesthetic environments. In the same way, Has Fallen 2 He filmed several of his sequences at the Estadio Metropolitano station.

He advertising field has once again found a unique showcase in the Madrid suburban area. Firms such as Oysho, L'Oréal, Bosch, BBVA, Fotocasa and Airbus have chosen their facilities to develop campaigns that combine image, mobility and modernity.

Metro de Madrid facilitates these shoots, guaranteeing at all times the security, technical coordination and normal service provision, offering solutions adapted to the needs of each production.
