All passes to IBC 2025 will include a QR that will allow access to trams, buses and metro

The collaboration between IBC, RAI Amsterdam, GVB and CredsNow will promote mobility during IBC 2025, from September 12 to 15, incorporating a QR code into the fair pass that will allow direct and free access to the tram, bus and metro network.

The project developed between the exhibition entity RAI Amsterdam, Amsterdam public transport operator GVB and the smart credentials provider CredsNow, will provide agile and ticketless access to the city's extensive tram, bus and metro network, offering a fluid, sustainable and technologically advanced experience to the tens of thousands of professionals who will attend this year's fair.

This frictionless integration not only simplifies city navigation for attendees, but also underscores IBC and RAI's commitment to sustainability by encouraging the use of public transportation and reducing the printing of non-recyclable tickets.

RAI Amsterdam, known for its commitment to green practices, has been offering all IBC attendees the chance to travel around the city for free on the GVB public transport network for many years, as part of its long-standing collaboration with the IBC. Thanks to the close collaboration between GVB and IBC, attendee transportation has moved from early ticketing measures to issuing passes printed on site, and this year, with the support of CredsNow, the GVB transportation pass has been integrated directly into the event ID card.
