YouTube Live certifies Net Insight's Nimbra Edge and Nimbra 400 for streaming
Nimbra Edge and the Nimbra 400 series Net Insight are now included in the list of verified YouTube Live encoders, thus certifying the compatibility and operational performance of these solutions as live encoders.
Producers and broadcasters can stream to YouTube using unverified encoders. However, verification indicates that the encoder has passed detailed testing designed to reduce risk in live operations, covering areas such as ingest compatibility, sustained stability, and robust behavior under failure conditions. For YouTube workflows where you enable SRT intake, verification also supports more predictable and reliable delivery behavior over SRT.
Audience strategies and monetization They are increasingly requiring publishers to diversify their content across different platforms, while maintaining operational control. In practice, many teams start with YouTube for one-off events, experiments, and incremental feeds, then expand to broader, permanent distribution and “YouTube-first” approaches as usage grows.
Now that Nimbra Edge and Nimbra 400 are verified, organizations can adopt YouTube as an endpoint with greater confidence, while maintaining consistent workflows across managed IP, Internet, and cloud environments.
Callum Hewett, YouTube Live Solutions Consultant, notes, "The YouTube Verification program is designed to give content owners confidence that the technology they choose will work consistently when streaming live to YouTube. It's been fantastic to work closely with the Net Insight team; their Nimbra Edge and Nimbra 400 products have successfully passed our rigorous SRT and RTMP ingest tests, demonstrating stable and reliable ingest. We're excited to verify these solutions and look forward to seeing how our continued collaboration helps their partners deliver content on YouTube. Resilient, high-quality direct to YouTube.”
Andreas Eriksson, CEO of Net Insight, adds that "broadcasters want the freedom to distribute to all relevant platforms without adding fragility to their live operations. Appearing on YouTube Live's list of verified encoders is practical proof. We have collaborated closely on the necessary testing, demonstrating that our solutions are designed to run stable and observable live delivery workflows, at scale."
