DHD Firmware 10.4 Prepares for Debut at NAB 2026: Flexible Channels and API Improvements
The DX2, RX2, SX2 and TX2 broadcast audio mixers; The RM1 portable production unit and the XC3, XD3 and XS2 processing cores will see their functions expanded in NAB 2026 (April 19-22, Las Vegas) with the release of firmware version 10.4 DHD.
He firmware 10.4 enter three new configuration options. Los flexible channels They allow access to more signals within the system, with source selection being made from a list of pre-assigned input sources, rather than from the set of fader channels. he Mic Preamp Control, on the other hand, allows you to adjust the A-Gain value of a microphone input at any time without having to assign it to a fader, either through the console's touch screen, the Views application or the API. Finally, the fader channels will be able to manage the channel categories, allowing you to filter list of input sources for specific signals.
Another new feature of firmware 10.4 are four API related functions- A control API for DHD interfaces AES67, which allows secure connections using tokens and HTTPS; DHD Control API now available as a plugin Bitfocus Companion para Elgato Stream Deck; the library TypeScript for the DHD Control API, which provides a set of functions for the integration of the DHD Control API into third-party software, and the Go Library, which facilitates the arrival of the DHD control API in third-party software.
Looking ahead to NAB 2026, DHD will also present the latest news the DHD routing web application, which allows incoming sources and outgoing ports to be securely assigned, viewed and managed by a designated operator, either locally or remotely. Based on HTML5, runs directly on the web server built into the DHD processing core.
The solution allows you to create matrixes of points of individual crossing and display them graphically or as a list of inputs/outputs. Matrix settings can be stored as presets for quick selection and recall. The Routing web application extends the range of DHD web applications tois, including the application Assist, the application Labels, the application Snapshot, the application System and the application Views. Each of them can be activated through a license.
RM1 Pro: premiere at NAB 2026
After being presented worldwide at IBC 2025, the RM1 Pro de DHD, a complete studio-quality audio production system, will present its advantages of the Las Vegas date. The solution features an expanded set of tools for use in contributions from remote or on-site broadcast, live news production, web radio and podcasting.
Its features include AD/DA interface, audio preamplifiers, 48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones, Bluetooth audio, Dante 4x4, audio mixing, equalizer, dynamics or an AutoMix mode can be used to automatically balance incoming audio channels. The RM1 Pro, which can be remotely integrated with DHD infrastructure located in a central studio, also allows logical commands to be exchanged with other DHD devices for talkback or live signaling.
Additionally, with the RM1 Pro users also have access to individual settings of DHD Toolbox, plus the ability to create an RM1 Pro user interface tailored to your workflow, including volume measurement functionality. Options like remote faders DHD allow you to control the RM1 Pro channels from another DHD system or vice versa.
