Patricia Ortega films 'Blows at my door', a drama about faith and justice
Produced by Eterno Island Pictures In association with VIP 2000 TV and Broadway en Español (USA), ‘Golpes a mi puerta’ by Patricia Ortega (‘Mamacruz’) begins filming in different locations in Toledo and Gran Canarias.
knocks on my door proposes a drama moral based on the homonymous play by the Argentine Juan Carlos Gene. Produced by Patricia Gonzalez (producer and CEO of Eterno Pictures Studios), Roxana Rotundo (CEO and founder of VIP 2000 TV) and Ana Maria Lazo as executive producers, the project entrusts its script to the Oscar winner Nicolás Giacobone (Birdman) and to the management of the Spanish Patricia Ortega.
The history places two nuns facing a critical decision when a man accused of terrorism knocks on their door in the middle of the night asking for shelter. “Protecting him means becoming accomplices; handing him over, assuming his death sentence,” reads the description of the film. From that moment on, the film enters fully into a conflict where law, faith and conscience They stop coinciding, in a political context marked by ideological confrontation.
Behind the cameras are David Cortazar, in front of the photography direction; Gustavo Ramirez in art direction, and Fatima of the Saints in front of the assembly. The sound is in charge of Miguel Carretero, while the original music is provided by José Manuel González. The costume design is Amador Garcia; makeup and hairdressing, Sonia de la Fuente y Federico Calcatelli; the special effects, Ivan Lopez, and the still photo, of Ruben Chavero. Regarding the distribution, this is headed by Mimi Lazo, Bárbara Cuesta, Daniel Arias and Ramiro Blas, who will be accompanied by Neus Sanz, Vladimir Cruz and Ileana Wilson.
