Carlos del Amor will put a face to the memory of a country in 'The year you were born'
After passing through La 2Cat de RTVE Last fall, the ‘L’any que vas neixer’ format will have a national version with ‘El ano que naciste’, produced in collaboration with Absolute Minority ('The secret files of the NO-DO').
The journalist Carlos of Love will be the presenter of the new program that provides a personal and historical journey in which two renowned guests who were born in the same year revisit their past and the context of the time thanks to the images from NO-DO and the RTVE archive.
The new space aims to portray an era through the archive, but also the engine that generates conversation, anecdote and analysis. The images will be the starting point to start a relaxed three-way conversation, full of anecdotes, curious facts and emotional moments.
Carlos del Amor, recognizes that “The year you were born It is a gift, one of those programs in which one dreams of participating. It is a journey into the individual memory of great guests, but also into the collective memory of an entire country. Because we will all discover details that are part of our own landscape or the vital landscape of our parents or grandparents, diving into the NO-DO and RTVE archives to portray an era.”
The objective of The year you were born es explore the era related to guests from a unique perspective, focusing on the most relevant social, cultural and historical events of the moment, thanks to the evocative power of archival images, and the memories of the protagonists.
