A laptop as a studio: L’Équipe simplifies its production with Holovox
The Holovox engagement solution, a development of BCE, allows The Team shape 'Salon Tactique', a format that analyzes key meetings in depth through the vision of professionals who connect remotely.
Bringing together journalists and former professional athletes, the program offers information before and after the matches through analysis designed specifically for digital audiences. Combining the editorial experience with the tactical analysis on screen, the format takes advantage of tactical deglosses, las commented images and the repetitions to create a more enjoyable viewing experience interactive and accessible on all digital platforms.
These formats are produced through Holovox, tool BCE enables a fully remote, lightweight and flexible production workflow. Originally designed to provide remote feedback, the solution has been repurposed as a complete remote production tool.
Holovox allows these productions to be created without the need for a television studio or control room, reducing the need for production equipment. Through a single web interface, presenters can connect their laptop's webcam and microphones and control the entire program autonomously- Change formats, activate graphics and video inserts, share screens, discuss tactics in real time, and manage audio and live elements.
L'Équipe premiered Tactical Lounge on a large scale during the FIFA World Cup 2022, producing daily programs throughout the tournament and covering the key topics and highlights of the tournament. The format has since been extended to major rugby events, including the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Six Nations tournaments and international test matches between 2023 and 2025. More recently, the format was used during the Six Nations Tournament 2026, on February 1 and March 16, confirming its continued presence at top-level live events.
Tactical Lounge is broadcast on multiple platforms, including the website of The Team, YouTube and Dailymotion. This multi-platform distribution strategy maximizes visibility and engagement, allowing L’Équipe to connect with fans during major global sporting events.
