Former Telefónica Germany executive Gudrun Scharler joins Riedel Networks as CEO

Riedel nombra a Gudrun Scharler como directora ejecutiva de Riedel Networks, la división del grupo especializada en servicios de telecomunicaciones, redes corporativas e IT security. Sucederá en el cargo a Michael Martens, quien ha dirigido Riedel Networks desde 2012 y colaborará en un traspaso de funciones ordenado hasta finales de agosto.

With her strong track record of leadership in telecommunications, operations and transformation, she is the right person to guide the company into its next phase of development."

Scharler brings extensive Executive experience in leading telecommunications and technology companies, where he has improved operational performance, led customer-centric transformations, and managed complex organizations. Her career includes key positions at Unitymedia, where she held the position of COO, as well as senior management positions at Nets Group, E-Plus, Sunrise Communications and Telefónica Germany. Most recently, he expanded his leadership experience through positions at Canyon Bicycles and P2 eBike GmbH.

Desde que asumió la dirección de Riedel Networks en 2012, Michael Martens ha guiado a la empresa a través de un periodo de crecimiento significativo, contribuyendo a ampliar su negocio en redes seguras y seguridad informática. Durante su mandato, Riedel Networks pasó de tener unos ingresos de 2,8 millones de euros y 12 empleados a alcanzar los 24 millones de euros y contar con 70 empleados.
