MediorNet MicroN UHD (Riedel) drives the signals of Ü10 (Studio Berlin)

To provide the production teams with a safe working environment in the mobile unit’s control room, Studio Berlin has decided to install ten complete equipment racks in a separate trailer, with a fibre-optic link connecting the two spaces. In this way, the Riedel MediorNet MicroN UHD system is distributed between the two vehicles. Thanks to this configuration, the Ü10 can accommodate up to 26个工作站 (and 24 个超高清摄像机) with the recommended social distancing.

Furthermore, it enables production teams to collect and distribute all stage box signals directly from where they originate. With centralized solutions, this process requires additional hardware that adds weight, reduces flexibility, and increases costs.”
