Tandberg Telepresence T3, enhanced total immersion

Tandberg evolves its high definition telepresence system with Full HD screens and immersive audio.

The Norwegian Tandberg has presented Tandberg T3, a second generation telepresence solution. The system can be installed in a room of about twelve square meters in which three 65-inch screens are mounted with three cameras located above each of them, and a longitudinal table that stages the extension of the remote room on which the microphone system is installed. Tanberg T3 offers 1080p images at 30 frames per second, the entire system being governed from a touch control panel that makes it possible to choose the interlocutors.
Thanks to Telepresence Server technology, this solution offers high quality, improving the final appearance of the video. To ensure proper operation, the system requires a minimum bandwidth of at least 8 MB to establish 720p video communications, 12 MB for Full HD (1,080p) video conferencing and up to 18 MB to hold multipoint telepresence meetings. The minimum latency in all cases should always be around 200 milliseconds.
