Associated Press presents version 7 of its popular news solution at NAB'09, now powered by Digital Publishing Engine.

enpsPrecisely and quickly creating synergies between content aimed at television, radio and web publishing is now much easier thanks to the Digital Publishing Engine (DPE) technology that is included in version 7 of the AP/ENPS newsroom system. Starting from the same material and through an extremely agile workflow, this technology allows you to create content for broadcast and publication on the web and mobile phones.

One of the functions included in AP/ENPS v7 is the possibility of checking at all times how many views the pieces uploaded to the Internet are getting. The Web Client has also been improved, already part of ENPS Móvil, which allows users to edit material from any location through a PC, PDA's or mobile phone.

The Associated Press intends, as it has done with the DPE, to include new modules in the coming months aimed at achieving total integration between TV, radio, Internet and mobile. Currently, around 700 newsrooms, with more than 58,000 users from 57 countries, have implemented the AP news solution.
