As part of the digital reconversion of the CRTVG, the headquarters of Radio Galega in San Marcos (Santiago) launches this Tuesday a new multimedia studio with which public media will strengthen the definitive convergence between radio, television and the Internet and from which RG will transmit 80% of its daily live broadcast.

In this way, Radio Galega will be cross-platform, with image transmission for radiogalega.gal, YouTube of CRTVG and Facebook Live in a study specially designed for this task.

Galician Radio From now on, Radio Galega programs may be broadcast live or delayed by Televisión de Galicia or by any of the CRTVG digital channels as broadcast from a space created ad hoc. In addition, this studio is prepared for the broadcast or recording of concerts, to receive audiences and to attend to projects in new formats, combining audio and image, as well as the current trend of distribution of entertainment content on digital platforms, Twitch, for example, with a dynamic and fluid design.

The studio debuted this Tuesday with the broadcast of the program Galicia onwards (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) through digital media and with special programming throughout the day, in which the RG also celebrates its 37th anniversary.

Radio Galega thus advances in its digital conversion strategy, which led her at the end of 2021 to launch the new podcast platform, also available for a few weeks on Spotify and iTunes, and with which it is positioned in the audience's new consumption spaces. Reaching all audiences on the channels where they are located is the objective of CRTVG, for which it approaches, from radio and television, new languages, new channels and technological innovation, complementing the communication and dialogue with the audiences of the Galician Corporation on social networks and web portals.
