Egatel enters Turkey

It will supply almost a hundred 1 Kw UHF analog transmitters through Basari Telekom for the Turkish public broadcaster TRK.

Spanish technology once again opens its borders, in this case in Turkey, since Egatel will supply through the distributor Basari Telekom a total of 95 1 Kw UHF transmitters to the Turkish public television TRK. The amount of the contract, for which six companies opted, amounts to 1,355,000 euros. The delivery of the equipment will be done in stages, with the last transmitters expected to be delivered in the middle of next summer. With these Egatel systems, TRK will change some of its old transmitters for new ones and at the same time expand its broadcast network in the country.

Türkiye is not the only country that regularly buys technology from Egatel, since its solutions are installed in networks as remote from each other as Finland, Colombia, Mexico or Morocco.
