Bigas Luna bets on Apuntolapospo for the filming of the teaser of his new movie
Four Red One cameras serve as the basis for the stereoscopic production of the film's teaser based on The Second Origin Manuscript.
Coinciding with the Cannes Festival, Bigas Luna will present the teaser of his new film Segon Origen, based on the Catalan science fiction novel The Second Origin Manuscript, produced by Antártida Producciones and under the direction of photography by Alberto Pascual. For the production of the teaser, Bigas Luna wanted to opt for stereoscopy, commissioning the work to Apuntolapospo. This company has worked hand in hand with the director in the filming of the stereoscopic piece, which was filmed with four Red One cameras in the Ivars and Vila-Sana pond in Lérida. The Catalan post-producer attended the filming as a stereoscopy specialist, also carrying out the post-production of the teaser.
Second Origin recreates the story of a boy and a girl who seem to be the only survivors of Earth, after a massive destruction of the planet. If Antártida Producciones finally obtains the necessary financing, this project would see the light of day next year.
